Reformer Pilates

Amazing for those looking for a full body workout adding support and resistance using our beautiful Reformer machines.

 

Pilates reformer work focuses on core strength and proper muscle engagement which improves athletic performance, back pain, injury recovery, weight loss, balance, bone density and posture.

 It is a movement system designed to better our everyday life and well being.

Mat Pilates

Perfect for those looking to build strength, stamina and support from the inside out. To find your powerful centre.

 

Expect to focus on strength, stability, posture, proper breath control & flexibilty.

Each class willl work to balance all muscle groups with an emphasis on challenging the core muscles with each movement.

Classes will be taught using slow controlled movements.

Lang Lang

Community Center

Mat Pilates

A low impact practice that works to build strength, tone muscles, promote healthy posture, & create a long lean body frame.

This class is accessible to everyone at any level of fitness & provides countless benefits.

If you love structure, or if a quiet, gentle (not to be confused with easy) workout

is just what you need- Check out this class.

Purna Yoga

Nurture all areas of your being with these uplifting classes designed to lighten the heart and calm the mind.

 

The yoga taught here at Shine is called Purna, meaning integrated or complete.  Purna Yoga represents a holistic approach to yoga by combining not just the the physical postures (Asana) but also philosophy, meditation, pranayama (breath control) and the yogic personal and social code of ethics.  Classes are based around alignment and can range from gentle restorative to dynamic.  Props such as blocks, belts and bolsters can be used to support and modify postures safely.

Flow with your own breath through a series of carefully curated sequences on our reformers designed to have you leave feeling relaxed and at your very best.

Community Center Yoga

A very gentle practice involving slow mindful movements focusing on the breath to create a mind body connection.

​

A great class for those with limitations or would like a gentle approach to their practice.  Take your time to learn correct techniques enhancing your strength, balance & mobility.

Our Policies

  • Bookings essential for all classes

  • Minimum of 2 participants required to run a class.

  • Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours prior to scheduled class for return of class credit fee.

  • If a class is cancelled you will receive the class credit on your purchased pack.

  • Class terms flow inline with Vic School term dates

  • As courtesy to others please arrive on time.

  • In the interest of health and safety grip socks must be worn for all Reformer classs.

  • Timetable is subject to change.

  • Classes at Shine Pilates & Yoga are not clinical based.  Please communicate injuries/pregnancy to instructor prior to class.

  • Casual Reformer places only available for online bookings.  If interested in a permanent position please contact us directly
